some good news

Well we took blood today and the level of medicine in our child's blood is therapeutic!! This is incredible as we keep giving her the medicine and it feels as if we are getting nowhere. I am so ready for the word that we are good to go. I have a totally new found respect for parents with chronically ill kids. Give to the Donald McDonald house or any other cause for children and parents.

Stand Off

Well, as anyone may know...I am stressed and ready to go at any moment. A inspector failed a job for WORKMANSHIP!!!! I was in his face an all. Sorry, If my daughter was not on my mind then I would elaborate more. My daughter is doing great. Much better than me.

My life has been stripped and robbed of all structure and sense. we are now going to give my daughter medicine 3 times a day. 7am, 3pm, 11 pm. I will do the whole administering myself. As soon as I am done with her I go plumbing. I almost got bit by a DOG. I was cool as shit but....

Ah, another Sunday. I am a bit depressed. My daughter is mostly the reason why. She is such a strong little girl. It is amazing. We had fun today. Then we had our IV drip session.1 hour. She is sooooooooo good. She just sits on my lap and lets me do everything.

After her nap we got Pizza and went to the airport to watch all of the private jets take off. She loved it and I was happy for that. At the same time I was sad. I hate to watch 1 person get into A JET AND TAKE OFF. it is even harder to watch 2 people and 1 dog get into an even bigger jet. Here we are just scraping buy and there they are.... Well at least my daughter loved it.

Well, today there was not much Plumbing. Funny how such a little thing as you Daughter being sick distracts you. I am going to be administering the dose of medicine starting Monday. The Visiting Nurse (bless her heart) will show me what to do tomorrow. I hate the fact that I have to give her the medicine but I would rather it be me. Crazy shit. We did see Curious George today at a store. That was cool.

Time...

Wow, with work and an Ill child there is even less hours in the day. I worked until 2 and then went to the hospital to help with the dose of medicine she needed. At least to day the VNA comes here to our home. If anyone ever needs medical attention go to Mass General. Top notch care.

Today we had to take our daughter to Mass General. What a GREAT hospital!!!!! She needed a PICC line. Scary stuff. You never know love until you have Children.

Well, it was a nice day of hanging out...............we got a good rain today.

Trying not to work and going to try to drink some beer and eat some meat.

Bed Ban As a Pillow

While I was changing a bathroom faucet I had to use a bed pan as a pillow. It really helps as the neck really starts to get A kink in it. I also roughed in a bathroom and tried to get the blade on my lawnmower sharpened but I was told it was going to be DAYS! I was weeding the carrots but now I have to go fix a sink that fell off the wall at one of the restaurants I am the Plumber for. Sucks but "it is what it is".

I still can not eat but I am getting there. I put the 2 shower heads on. snaked another toilet out. fixed a loose toilet and other administrative stuff. I invited someone who is taking a bike ride to Canada to come to my area. That is it in a nut shell.

long crappy day

Well what long day. I started with billing, made breakfast for my kid, walked the dogs, and got my helper going. I then installed a $500 shower head (2 more to do when they come in). I collected some funds, ate lunch, repaired a faucet, started feeling bad. I had the runs bad. I worked through this though. It required coming back home 6 times but it worked out. I made calls and got home around 5:30 only to get a call that all of the toilets would not flush in a restaurant. We ran the snake down the pipes and ended up pulling out paper towels. Thanks a lot for the extra work. now I am going to watch the Phillies and sleep like a baby.
